Foreign capital enterprises approaches 6000 in Shanghai
            As many as 4728 have registered in Shanghai Pudong Customs and Waigaoqiao Bonded  Areas, with a total registered capital valued at US$27.72 billion among the accumulative total of 5924 foreign capital enterprises approved over the past decade. Of the 4728 enterprises, there are 1804 joint ventures, 174 foreign cooperative enterprises and 2750 solely foreign-owned enterprises, with a total estimated investment at US$18.18 billion, US$2.02 billion and US$7.52 billion respectively, according to resources released lately by Shanghai Customs.
